What this covers

This policy is about resurgantsoftware.com: what the website collects, where it goes and what you can ask us to do with it.

What the contact form collects

When you send the form, we receive your name, company, phone number and email address, the service you picked, the system you use today, and whatever you wrote in the message box. We use it for one purpose: to reply to you and set up a conversation. The form doesn’t ask for financial statements, account numbers or bank details, and we’d rather you didn’t send them that way.

Where it’s stored

The website is hosted in Canada. Form submissions are stored in the site’s form system on that hosting and sent to our email. We keep them as long as we need them to respond and, if we go on to work together, as part of your client file. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how the site is used: which pages are visited, on what kind of device, and from roughly where. It works through cookies. Google processes this data on its own systems, including in the United States. Your name, email address, phone number and the text of your message are never passed to analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same without them.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing. There’s no mailing list, no chat, no user accounts and no payments on this site, so no information is collected for those things.

Service providers outside Canada

Google, for analytics, is a service provider outside Canada, including in the United States. Written information about our policies and practices for service providers outside Canada is available on request from the privacy contact below, who can also answer questions about how personal information is handled by them.

Your information, your choices

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email egrasby@resurgantsoftware.com and we’ll respond within the time Alberta’s privacy law allows. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

Which law applies

Resurgant Software Inc. is a private organization in Alberta, so Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) governs the personal information collected through this site. Where information crosses provincial or national borders, as analytics data processed by Google does, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) can also apply.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
